Kalasa Banduri projects escalates from 93 crores to 757 Crores
The project cost of Kalasa Nala and Banduri Nala diversion projects to utilise 7.56 tmcft of water to provide drinking water to Hubbali-Dharwad has shot up to 757.63 crore from the estimated 93.98 crore in 2008.
These disclosures came through RTI documents obtained by RTI activist Bheemappa G. Gadad.
Also it was disclosed that government has made payment of Rs 8.98 crores to the lawyers to argue the case in Tribunal in past three years.
