Firing at Shastri Nagar after a foiled Loot attempt
Three masked men tried to rob a mobile vendor at Shastri Nagar on Sunday night at about 9.30 PM, but their plan was foiled and two out of the three accused have been arrested.
The masked men rang the bell of flat of Jayram Choudhari on the 3rd floor of Omkar Apartments Shastri nagar near Gujrat Bhavan and when the door was opened the masked men asked for money at gun point but at the same time one 
more inmate of the house ran upto the gallery and shouted for help when the others rushed in.
When the accused felt they will be caught they fired in the air and ran away, but the residents were able to catch hold of one person namely Sandeep Pandey (23) and later handed him over to the police. Another accused Suvarnakumar was later arrested from a lodge in Khade Bazar.
