Bomb scare in Mysore Ajmer express train at Desur near Belagavi
The bomb scare turned out to be hoax as nothing was found on the train.
The Mysore Ajmer express (16210) train was stopped at Desur station about 11 kms from Belagavi station after a bomb scare over the phone.
Intensive checking is being done after the train was halted at 12.50 PM at Desur. Sources say the caller has been identified to be someone from Mumbai.
Railway Protection Force personnel and sniffer dog squad are currently searching all parts of the train. The train was running more than three hours late. Sources said that senior railway officials, R Railway sources said that food and water was made available to the passengers of the train.
