Huns Talkies will soon be Central Mall
Bid adieu to Huns theater happened on May 30, 2012 and now a new board has sprung up at the site on Huns Talkies road which mentions it as it will be “Central Mall” being developed by Shakti Developers.
The project developers say it is a a different concept with European design to counter the failing concept of “mall” culture and give a boost for the REAL city to get the Business.
The Pardeshi Brothers had started Huns theater way back on 17 December 1944 and was one of the oldest theaters in town and it was closed on May 30, 2012.
The new developers will commence work shortly on the project and has many uniques to it. The developers plan to lease the shops on Long lease instead of selling it right away. It will be like a mini market like in the metros with shops of all sizes and products. Entire basement will be utilized for parking.
