Govind Karjol, district in-charge minister held a review meeting today at Belagavi in which he asked the officials to expedite the land acquisition process for Dharwad-Belagavi Railway Route
The minister directed the officials of DDLR, KIADB, and concerned departments that since 11(1) notice has already been issued for land acquisition for the Belagavi-Dharwad railway line, the further process should be started immediately.
He said that the marking and other processes related to land acquisition should be seeded up after harvesting the sugarcane crop.
He said that the surveyor of the railway department should also be taken to work.
DC Nitesh Patil said that the process for land acquisition between Belagavi-Kittur has been started.
