A concerning incident has come to light involving an attempted abduction of a 7-year-old boy, Ismail, from the Nehru Nagar area of Belagavi.
The boy was reportedly lured with the promise of chocolate near the rear of Hotel Ramdev. Thanks to his quick thinking, Ismail managed to escape and immediately informed his parents about the incident.
Acting swiftly, the parents approached the local police, and upon reviewing CCTV footage from the area, the attempted kidnapping was confirmed.
A formal complaint has been filed at the Market Police Station, and further investigations are underway.
